The old 1.5 T MRI scanner, Siemens MAGNETOM Sonata, will be replaced by a new 3T Siemens MAGNETOM Lumina and used for MRE experiments within the Research Training Group BIOQIC. We were very happy to host again Professor Vasishth, from the department of linguistics at the Univerisity of Potsdam, for a 2-day introductory course in statistics. Our PhD students had voted for him as the best teacher at the SFB “Matrix in Vision” introduction courses in January.
