We are happy to announce that NAMT-2019,„Quantitative MRI as key technology in life sciences“ (Quantitative Magnetresonanztomographie als Schlüsseltechnologie in den Lebenswissenschaften), has been funded by the DFG. NAMT-2019 is a workshop for Early Career Investigators in Medical Technology and Medical Physics dedicated to quantitative MRI. The workshop is aimed at young scientists who are finishing their doctoral studies until the end of 2019 or have completed their degree recently. The applicants must not yet have received DFG funding. After the workshop, participants can apply for DFG funding for pursuing own research ideas in the near future. At the beginning of 2020, the proposals will be assessed by the DFG during a 1-day colloquium. NAMT-2019 will take place from September 9-13. You can find more details here.
