A new, heterogeneous multifrequency wave inversion method, was proposed by Barnhill et al (in review) following Sanchez et al 2010. This presentation will discuss this method from a numerical analysis perspective, and show early results regarding stability and accuracy of the method using analytic data and PDE solvers.
