Information about German language courses
Since our BIOQIC group is very international, some of you expressed your interest in taking German language courses. Unfortunately, the Charité does not offer basic German language courses, but there are several other possibilities and BIOQIC can reimburse the costs up to a maximum of 300 euros.

As an employee of the Charité, you are registered as an HU employee and you can participate in their German courses offered by the HU language center. The prices are reasonable. Humboldt University: https://www.sprachenzentrum.hu-berlin.de/de
Other options are shown below. The VHS, Volkshochschule, is usually pretty cheap and is designed for people with different educational backgrounds.
