We are happy to host Nadine Schmieder-Galfe on behalf of BIOQIC and Matrix in Vision!
Nadine is the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of Zellmechhanik Dresden since 2015, and has an inspiring career history in project coordination, research management, business development and technology transfer. Along with her current activities in business, she is also conducting her PhD in Economics.
She will be delivering 2 consecutive lectures of 1 h each, in the afternoon between 13:00 – 15:15 h. The lecture series are intended to guide the PhD students of both GRK ‘BIOQIC’ and SFB ‘Matrix in Vision’ on the focus of ‘Career Options After PhD’.

The program will be:
13:00-14:00 – Industry vs Academia: What your PhD can do for you?
14:00-14.15 – Coffee break
14:15-15:15 – Business and Economy: Entrepreneurship, science management, research and development, technology transfer, venture capitals.

 

Participation in the lecture series will gain 0,2 ECTS in the category ‘Personal Skills’ of the Charité Advanced Promotion Track.
