Professor Julia Schnabel from King’s College London, member of the BIOQIC advisory board, would like to share the following message with you:
We are delighted to inform you that we have been awarded the renewal for our EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Smart Medical Imaging at King’s College London and Imperial College London, introducing our exciting new scientific themes:
- AI-enabled imaging
- Smart imaging probes
- Emerging imaging
- Affordable imaging
In addition to the exciting world-leading international academic and doctoral partnerships for potential student exchanges, as kindly offered by you, our training programme also features substantial healthcare industry support in form of studentships, internships, training events and careers mentoring. It has proven to be a very competitive round, and therefore presents a great accomplishment, which is also thanks to the support that you have expressed for our application – thank you very much indeed!
We wish to feature our academic and doctoral training partners in our new brochure, website and other marketing materials, and our marketing team will get in touch with you separately to seek your permission and input.
Finally, as we have already opened the recruitment for October intake, please have a look at the projects that are already advertised on our updated website, imagingcdt.com, and kindly direct any suitable candidates you might know to us – we will run a second recruitment round in early summer, and will work with you on possible academic exchanges and lab visits once candidates are in place.
With best wishes,
Julia, Nick and Claudia
